High Priest Ahrayah
Being the son of Elder High Priest Yaiqab he was awoken to the truth of the scriptures from his youth, in 1973 Ahrayah, Yaiqab, along with King Masha, were chosen to carry on teaching in Abba Bivens place. They took over the Israeli School and continued to teach the doctrine which Abba Bivens had showed them. The church’s name was changed by adding “universal practical knowledge” (U.P.K.) to the school’s name making I.S.U.P.K.
Initially based in a Harlem apartment, it was also decided that the location of the school should also be changed. The school soon moved to a building on New York City’s 125th Street, Harlem’s main drag. The 3 disciples of Bivens‘ — Ahrayah, Masha and Yaiqab — brought in four additional teachers to the school named Chaazaq, Lahab, Yahiya and Shar to help with the leadership of the Israelite School. Collectively they were referred to as the “Seven Heads,” of the Hebrew Israelite re-awakening . Ahrayah and the school began to teach out on the streets as instructed in the bible and to continue the great commission our forefathers started…. to lead Negros, Latino, and Native Indian people back to their true Israelite heritage.
The 12 Tribes sign is Born
Using the scriptures High Priest Ahrayah created the 12 Tribes sign as prophesied in Ezekiel 37:16
16 Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17 And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
21 And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.
In the 1980s, the Seven Heads changed the name of their group to the Israelite Church of Universal Practical Knowledge.
The school expanded in the 1990s. Meanwhile, some members began to break away and form their own Hebrew Israelite sects including the Apostles of Greatmillstone. Another member, Yahanna, also started a chapter and reclaimed the original name Israelite School of Universal Practical Knowledge (ISUPK) for his own devices.
The organization unfortunately strayed off the straight path and was taken over in late 2000 by an Israelite student of the school named “Tazadaqyah,” who self-declared himself the “Holy Spirit” and “The God sent Comforter.” High Priest Ahrayah continued with the school under Tazadaqyahs’ leadership til this day
